Boarding at Dog Academy is like staying at a home-away-from-home but with more friends! Dogs are not housed away from us, they accompany us in our home. This ensures things such as, your dog requesting and receiving potty breaks during the night and feeling right at home. There is someone on premises (almost) the entirety of a 24 hour period and ALWAYS overnight. Boarding is available to clients who have had a dog trained with Dog Academy, only. This ensures the health and happiness of our client’s dogs and prevents the disruption of our family oriented establishment. Daycare is provided while staying overnight, as is the upkeep of your dog’s training. Your dog will remain in our home, utilizing the home and yard, for play. Dog beds, toys, chew items, and crates (if applicable) are provided by Dog Academy. Please bring only your dog’s food (in a sealed container, please), applicable medication, and a leash and collar or harness.
Schedule your dog’s boarding via Doggie Dashboard (call or text for your personalized link) as soon as you have made plans for your vacation to ensure your spot is available. Drop off and pick up times are 6AM-8AM & 4PM-6PM Monday-Friday & Sundays 6:00-6:30PM. We do not offer drop off or pick ups on Saturdays at this time.
The cost is $35 per day per small (30 lbs and smaller) dogs and $45 per day per large (31 lbs and larger) dogs. The 7th night is FREE! I *Long term boarders (3+ weeks) will see a discount for boarding and bathing maintenance will be on an as needed basis.
As with all of our programs, age appropriate vaccines are required, as are (2) yearly negative fecal exams, (2) Bordetella vaccines, and current on flea, tick and heart worm medication.
